Anonymous asked: jaxin is being such a bitch on twitter lately

Okay, no. First of all, a lot of the hate I see him getting is from people who aren’t understanding where he’s coming from. Whether it be when he was talking about how people shouldn’t put their self harm or other problems on band members or the whole thing with BOTDF.

Either way, everyone is going to have an opinion about anything anyone does that they think is wrong. Just because you think a person is wrong, doesn’t make them a bad person, people don’t seem to understand that. Everything is a matter on point of view, and opinion. Unfortunately, sometimes peoples opinions suck because they lack the understanding to know when someone is taking about something because it’s bad and they want people to know the truth. So this part goes for the whole BOTDF thing, which I totally agree with. Why? Well, I mean, look at the songs they write, 95% of them or mainly about sex, and the lyrical content, I mean I just do not understand how it’s inspirational or could save someones life, I just really don’t. And rape jokes? Not cool, and the bashing on fans for the things they say or “not putting out” well, shit I don’t blame the people for saying no. Just in general I think Dahvie is a horrible person. (Remember that thing I mentioned called an opinion, yes? This is one of them.)

Now about the conversation about self harm and band members, again, I’m going to say I have to agree with him. And don’t get this twisted, I’m not agreeing with him on everything he says because I run a blog about him, or I think he’s awesome, or I love him, nope, not at all, I agree with him simply for the argument and the points and reasons, which all make sense to me. So once again, people will definitely have a lot to say about this topic because it’s a very touchy one. But it’s all about trying to not be biased, and understand the things he’s saying. He’s not trying to hurt anyone, he’s trying to say “hey, it puts a lot of pressure and stress on these guys because they’re not trained to know how to deal with this information.” You’ve gotta understand that first. That was the whole big picture on that conversation, and I don’t know why it’s so hard to grasp. He’s not bashing anyone for having problems, and self harming, not one bit, he’s just trying to say maybe you should think about how you say things to people who might not be capable of handling it. Never said that it would be wrong to say “hey, you saved my life and I’m very grateful for that” it’s not necessary to go into your whole life story, but love, you have to understand they really don’t have much time for that, and if there are other people around that want to talk to them, don’t do that to them, say something sweet and quick, get your point across and then let someone else have a minute to thank them if that’s what they’re there for.

So before you start calling someone out, you gotta remember to see things unbiasedly, first and understand what they’re saying so you can even have an actual conversation about something rather than just hate on them because you think they’re wrong.
